Acme Local Opens New Store In Aggieville

Diane Meredith and her team are on a mission in Aggieville.

The new Acme Local store marks owner Meredith’s seventh store in the district. The other stores also located on Moro Street and Manhattan Ave include Thread, Super Cub, Varsity Donuts, Dusty Bookshelf, Acme Gifts, and the recently opened Public Hall.

Acme Local is a prime example of the culture Diane Meredith and her team are building. The new store features dry goods with a focus of our region and state. Products include T-Shirts, coffee mugs, hats, stickers, coozies, and more.

The new store is located next to Acme Gifts in the previous Subway location at 1223 Moro Street that has been vacant for almost a year. Acme Local opened on December 1st and is carrying the theme of “celebrate everything home.” The store will focus on selling local-inspired goods that have been filling up the Gift store next door.

Meredith told The Mercury “happy Midwest vibes” are the goal and “anything you can print on is what we have.”

Visit the store on Moro Street or learn more on their website.
