POSTPONED: Ribbon Cutting for Midwest Dream Car Collection

The ribbon cutting for Midwest Dream Car Collection, originally scheduled for Friday, April 5, 2019 at 4:00 PM, has been postponed according to the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.

We recently wrote a piece about the grand opening of the car collection on Anderson Avenue in the former Ray’s Apple Market. The 22-year-old curator of the collection, Drew Casper, was in a crash on Sunday at Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka after the vehicle struck a wall, rolling and catching on fire.

Casper was the passenger of a 2019 Corvette when the crash occurred and 41-year-old Anthony Dellaria of Tulsa was the driver. Both were taken to a Topeka hospital for treatment.

If you have any questions regarding the postponing of the Manhattan Dream Car Collection, please contact Aileen at aileen@manhattan.org or 785-776-8829.
