April Fools: Trader Joes Set to Open in Manhattan

Finally! The place we’ve all been waiting for! Trader Joes has begun plans to open in Manhattan, Kansas!

This Trader Joes will be unique. The store owner, Joe Schrader, will source each food item from the local community garden, sometimes even searching along the river bank for unique herbs such as basil, oregano and marjoram.

We’re waiting on confirmation via Twitter, but early leads are saying this location will open in the mid-century modern AgPress building. This site has five acres. We foresee Joe Schrader planting his own garden and adding a goldfish pond for fresh seafood.

Happy April fools day! We encourage you to have a look around on our brand new website! Several new features of our new design include local jobs within startups and tech companies, online reading of our quarterly print magazine, and a resource page coming soon!
